Load balancing

Three levels of load management

Protect the household, share the site, respect the grid.

Single charger

When consumption exceeds the contracted limit, the charger's current is restricted to protect the house load.

Multi-charger

Full-Load mode: first come, first charged. Balance mode: power shared evenly across all chargers on the circuit.

Intersite

The station reads consumption of neighbouring loads (e.g. a supermarket) from the grid connection and adjusts its maximum power dynamically.

PV charging modes

Caro, Caro Pro and Saro integrate with PV systems.

  • Green Mode: surplus PV >6A starts charging
  • Mix Mode: 0-6A surplus topped up by grid

Roadmap

Echo Series V2X (pre-research)

Bidirectional charging & discharging linking EV, PV, storage and grid.

EN Plus's V2X system, based on its AC BOX control technology, manages energy flow between the EV, household loads, solar and the grid. Published targets: operating noise ≤ 40 dB, IP55 / IK10, app + button dual start, automatic off-grid / grid-connected switching, Chinese/European/Japanese standard platform. Status: pre-research — not a commercial product.
